Well, the bags have been unpacked, the clothes washed and put away and the digital photos have been downloaded to the computer. Hope everyone had an uneventful trip back home after an eventful and difficult Jamboree. No matter how difficult, we did have some fun didn't we? If the boys had a good Jamboree, then we did our jobs. New friends were made and old friends just keep getting better and better. If anyone would like to e-mail me with comments, I will post them here. I also have a limited amount of space for people to send their favorite digital photos to me which I will post server space permitting. If you have links to your own digital photo pages send them to me so others may download them if desired ----Don

Larry Stack's pics (more coming)
Larry Stack has produced a DVD with a slide show which is really great. It is similar to the one that was shown at the final dinner at the Chat 'n Chew. Please e-mail him if you are interested.
I have transferred my own video (unedited) of the Jamboree to DVD. If someone would like a copy, send me a buck ($1) and an SASE (DVD envelope size) and I will burn a DVD copy for you or send me $2 and I will take care of the mailer and the postage both. I obviously will need your name and address in either case. The video covers pretty much everything we did, but is more focused on the medical staff, naturally. There are scenes around camp, the Chat 'n Chew, the arena show, and so on. I think it's about 25 minutes long. It's not professional quality, but hey....what do you get for 2 bucks? I'm not looking to profit, but just to cover the cost. My address is 1250 Summerfield Ave., Cleveland, TN 37311----Don
For a great discussion of Jamboree health and safety concerns check out Bob Amick's Guide that was produced for the Jamboree in 1997. Don't forget to update your Tetanus immunization, if you have not had one in the past 10 years.
Check out the Jamboree Bulletins and Staff Guide which have been posted on this web site.
Jamboree Staff Guide (in .pdf format) You can view it using the free Adobe Acrobat reader. You may wish to print this out and put in your looseleaf notebook.
U.S. Scouting Project Jamboree website
Here are some Jamboree Maps:
JamboLeader - open to all, but made up mostly of adult leaders who either are serving as Jamboree troop leaders or Jamboree staff members. This is a wealth of information for those going to the Jamboree on staff. Many staffers have several years of experience at the Jamboree and share their knowledge here. I would suggest you use the digest form, since there may be numerous postings each day.
Also, there is an e-mail list on Yahoo for the 2005 Jamboree.
